About Laurel:    Reiki & Massage Therapist

Laurel's experience in  counseling and  teaching provide a rich background for this intuitive work.  
She has been a student of Metaphysics for 35 years, exploring Energy Work with Brugh Joy, MD,
along with Reiki, MariEL, and Healing Touch.  In 1987 she moved from Minneapolis to Virginia Beach,
graduated from Fuller School of Massage and has been in private practice as a CMT (Certified
Massage Therapist) since that time.  She has been an adjunct instructor at Cayce-Reilly School of
Massotherapy and Advanced Fuller School of Massage.  In 1999 she received  her Hypnotherapy
Certification from Eastern Institute of Hypnotherapy.

Laurel received her Masters in Counseling in 1981 from St Cloud State University in Minnesota and
Hypnotherapy certification in 1999.  Her counseling experience gives her the skill to assist you in
feeling safe, nurtured and comfortable—vital components for creating an effective healing experience
for you.

Laurel’s training in the healing arts has heightened her passion for energy work-- which is defined as:
a gentle touch, non-invasive method to assist the release of energy blocks within.  This allows you to
experience healing and well being on all levels—body, mind and spirit.
